A stone’s throw from Norra Bantorget, Vasastan’s new neighbourhood restaurant opens. Behind “Restaurant Sensum” are three experienced restaurateurs who have grown tired of serving the same food week after week.

The menu will be European – and some dishes will change daily.

With Restaurant Sensum, the restaurant owners want to shape their own future and “let their hair down”, without being hampered by Michelin stars.
– We have children and at the same time we spend a lot of time at work. Then you want to feel passionate about what you do, just like when we first started working as chefs. We love to cook, but we don’t want to do the same thing every day anymore,” says Mikael Wretman.
Behind the new neighbourhood pub at Wallingatan 40 is an experienced trio. Mikael has been head chef at Lux Stockholm and Lux Dag för Dag. Johan Tengsved was previously the head chef at Lux Stockholm and Oaxen Slip, where he worked with Mikael. The chefs will be joined by Katarina Kaselli, who has been in charge of dining at Lux Stockholm, as well as Lux Dag för Dag – and restaurant manager at deVille.
