As Ancon’s new G2 platform is introduced to the market, the company is moving all server operations of the platform to ITConnect’s data centre located in a rock room in Uddevalla.
– We have compared the quality of different data centres both in Sweden and in Europe. Among other things, we have considered Microsoft Azure and Amazon, but finally decided to place our servers with ITConnect as we see a higher quality of service and closer collaboration between us,” comments Ancon’s CEO Mikke Hermansson.
ITConnect owns a 900sqm building in central Uddevalla where the server hall is located. The server hall is well equipped with a double set of cooling and power, as well as double Internet connections from different providers.
– Our virtual servers will run in ITConnect’s server cluster, which means that it is more or less impossible for the servers themselves to suffer from operational problems. What I appreciate about ITConnect is that they invest in state-of-the-art hardware, which gives our platform the best conditions and ensures that it is perceived as fast and modern, concludes Mikke Hermansson.
Ancon will move all servers to ITConnect in July and deploy the first official Ancon G2 customers.
